I jut discovered this program about 3 weeks ago and really like it. I like to watch programs like this with "real" people and situations. I caught up with all the episodes on ON DEMAND and can't wait for Tuesday's to come around to I can watch it. This is my all time favorite TV show. Since I began watching it I have not missed an episode. Very well done and it just grips you waiting for the next development in the case.

This is one of the best shows on TV. It's realistic, exciting to watch and leaves you on the edge of your seat waiting for the next episode. Hey shoulderoforion, I'd like to wipe you off my shoe!!

My wife and I have watched this show from the very beginning and every episode keeps us on the edge of our chairs. The only thing we hate is having to wait a whole week to watch the next episode. Hopefully Rodie can finally solve this case and begin his retirement. Great show Discovery!!

Rodie is just one of those cops you have to like...gritty, real and has lived a life bigger than most of us will ever know--and he won't give up...watched it from the very first episode and am hooked. Sad the series is over! Make more episodes!!

Detective Sanchez could be a character straight out of movie. With his ice blue eyes and his laid back Louisiana expression he is simply captivating. The contrast between detective Sanchez and detective St. Angelo brings the best of old school versus new school investigation technique. The exotic yet eerie landscape of Iberville Parish, Lousiana makes for the perfect setting to solve an all but buried cold case murder. After watching the first episode my only thought is that these characters and this cold case needs to be brought to the attention of Hollywood. Amidst a plethora of multiple murders and multiple serial killers in that area over the years, there would be plenty to draw from. I can see Johnny Depp playing detective St. Angelo but it would be a hard find to fill detective Sanchez's shoes. The man is compelling to watch. Expand

Killing Fields is one of the best shows on this year. I just happened to catch the first episode and I was hooked. The two main detectives are so dedicated to solving their cases you just can't help but root for them every step of the way. I truly hope to see this show on for seasons to come.

Killing Fields certainly didn't create this [reality TV] environment, but it does exist in it, albeit clumsily. Yes, these are real people, but so much of it feels phony.

The people are real, the case is real, the place is real, and yet Killing Fields has the veneer of fiction to it--partly due to the natural tendency of human beings to view themselves as characters in their own stories, but also due to some unfortunately heavy-handed production choices.

The setting is exotic, and the characters are colorful in ordinary, workaday ways. The series' one real failing is that it doesn't completely trust them to carry the drama, laying on the high-volume audiovisual tics and tricks of reality television to remind us to be interested and excited. And yet it's the smaller, unvarnished, passing moments that sell the show--where its particular poetry, and even its comedy, can be found.
