The 1st and 2nd seasons were great thanks to Jodie Comer, but quickly fell off a cliff with season 3 and 4.

On top of that is the fact they use the same soundtrack for the entire show, lesbian bait throughout, and killed off my favourite character in a typical lesbian tragedy cliche.

I will give it marks for touching on Antisocial Personality Disorder/Sociopathy/Psychopathy, and although most terms are interchangeable... there are key differences, and about halfway through season 1-2 they decided just to call a blatant sociopath something they are not (psychopath)

I wish shows would just stop making things they really have no concept of understanding.… Expand

Jodie Comer’s fantastic performance is the only reason this show gets a 6/10. Season one had poor writing and an abundance of logical plot holes, but the novelty of the characters — mostly Villanele— carried the show. Unfortunately, this novelty wears off in season 2 and they do a terrible job developing the remaining characters. The poor writing becomes unbearable.
