This leads to the inevitable environment and survival challenges. Unfortunately, the filmmakers thought it would be more impactful if they spent more than half the time in flashbacks. These are supposed to flesh out the character's emotional journey, but they add more tedium than anything. The endurance ordeals sometimes push credibility or coincidence, but there is a decent trek to be appreciated. Ultimately, this could have been a solid thriller as a 2-hour feature, but the addition of the past memories dilutes most of the suspense. NOTE: This film is also listed some places as Breathe. This actress has only 2 facial expressions. The plot reads like a short book written for high school Spanish class (Las drogas en su guitarra!). I'm not gonna subject myself to this mess.

There went 6 hours of my life I'll never get back. Boring and questionable content. If you like metaphoric movies than keep you wondering, then watch this. I didn't enjoy it at all. Just my opinion.

It is not the survival movie most wanted, or expected it to be, it seems.

Instead it is about how you survive the relationships that shape you. Being the product of a dysfunctional family myself, I was totally onboard. Terrific performances

Terrific performances throughout , especially from the lead.

There is always Disney+ for the rest of you.

Other than that this show has no merit. This is standard Netflix trash. Lots of money getting you a good audio visual experience, but ultimately something so thin and trite that it never should have been made. Watch 127 hours or The Jungle if you want to see where the ideas were stolen for this show. The most frustrating part of Keep Breathing is that they made up their own crappy story instead of making a show based upon the endless pile of compelling and true survival stories. This show is as inert as it comes. Expand

What a letdown. I like the parts where she is trying to survive the wilderness but this flashback stuff is irritating. So boring.

I never felt invested in the character or her predicaments, both because she's not a really interesting person and because of Melissa Barrera's inability as the lead to make her odyssey and personality more captivating. As a movie it would also have been totally irrelevant, I don't know what made them think it should have been a miniseries.

After that though the show spends far too long on unimportant flashbacks that have no relevance to the main story. There is some flashbacks that create good background to her survival knowledge. But overall you could cut out 70% of this show and it would be a far better movie than a limited series. Expand
