Want to watch superman cry about how America is turning from Capitalism? This is the show for you! They ride on politics too much and family drama which seems super thin. There are like three fight scenes. Was it bad? No but it wasn't anything to tell your friends about. But I do want a season two, with a better director. Also, we need Zack Snyder to make the Snyderverse. Expand

It fails however to say anything real or new, bringing nothing serious to the genre of capesh*t. The liberalism really bleeds through the plot, with none of the main cast taking their powers seriously, or their role in the world as anything more than actors on a stage of good vs evil. Unfortunately the worldview of the writers makes the motivations of the characters not just shallow, but entirely incoherent. Enjoyable to watch, but don't expect to get anything out of it. Expand

It seriously feels like a first year fan fiction flick, except with some 'shock' effects (undoubtedly to compete with the Boys)... but it all just feels B grade. I thought the premise of the two times was interesting, but after a few episodes it just felt pointless. If the point is that we have to invest 5-6 hours to possibly find the ending interesting - then I think they miss the point of streaming services. I just can't get over how awful 'Jupiter' looked... did they find that makeup in a trashcan? The whole debate over 'the Code' was laughable... so, it's better to be killed by a villain (achieving nothing) and let them go on to kill more? Even when in self-defence? I get this might make for an interesting comic line, but in serial form this was just childish. By the third episode I was happy to for more fried superhero moments if to only break up the monotony. That's not the experience I was after. And don't get me started on the daughter-daddy thing (cringe). Expand

I finished the first season of jupiters Legacy and it has some interesting characters and plot but the overall pacing and cast makes the watch not really worth it. I got CW vibes from it and I might watch the second season, BIG MIGHT.
