Mar 2, 2015This is a must watch! Beutifully written show with funny narator and satiric view of all those telenovelas we watched when we were kids. Charming characters, interesting plot, just wonderful!!!

Oct 29, 2014In a very meager fall season, Jane the Virgin is the best new show on TV this season. I find myself laughing out loud at least a couple of times every episode, and the casting is exquisite. Three cheers for this show.

Nov 1, 2014"Jane the Virgin" is a breath of fresh air...It's charming and intelligent, fun and witty. That's why it deserves our respect and admiration. It deserves our admiration because it's good--if not, great.

Mar 23, 2017An endlessly entertaining, heart-tugging self-aware comedy still into season 3. The pitch-perfect cast and skilled writing team nail the tone nearly every week. It's hilarious, exciting and always affecting.

Oct 20, 2014One must need a zero IQ to enjoy this show. The acting is acceptable, but the story is just dumb.
I cannot believe the CW cancelled Star Crossed and put this junk on instead. -
Dec 2, 2014Just one word describes this (boring) who in his right mind would believe this story line....
Yes, I did watch it , boring teens getting pregnant by a doctor impregnate her with someone's else's baby making material, just repulsed me... -
Jan 11, 2015It's an okay show. It just needs a little bit more.... intelligence?... Some of the show is so incredibly painful to watch. obligatory 150 characters.

Nov 6, 2015I think it's a greta show, I couldn't stop watching it but I have to admit tat her confusion between the guys was pretty annoying. She was always confused between the two guys and it was makaing the story boring.

Mar 4, 2015Charming show I enjoy watching all the situations poor Jane finds herself in. The show is fun, script is amazingly funny, narrator is awesome and I can just say I can hardly wait for next episode. :)

Feb 24, 2015Sweet, funny, charming and with the best narrator ever! It's a fun show, and the story is a nice sarcastic telenovela. Very nicely done and a real joy to watch.

Jul 10, 2016What makes “Jane the Virgin” work is that, while the situations the characters end up in are absurd, the characters always react like actual human beings. It actually makes you believe that things so surreal can really be overcome so naturally. The series is very well balanced between the "impossible" and the "well, it could happen." It's amazing.

In a lacklustre fall season, this sweet surprise of a pilot, with its shrewd narration and likable cast, made me cross my fingers that the show can maintain its charms.
-
Talented, magnetic, sexy and above all else extremely likable, Rodriguez is the glue that holds together the tonally difficult-to-pull-off Jane the Virgin series.
-
It’s not self-serious, but it is serious--about being more entertaining, more emotional, more garish, and more gonzo than so much on television.
