Summary: 1966. A young mother is found murdered and Gently and Bacchus initially suspect her estranged husband. The investigation is compromised by an enthusiastic reporter, but the detectives soon uncover a disturbed family and a shocking secret. Bacchus becomes concerned about the relationship between his wife and his boss.
