DianneK.Jun 1, 2008I may have a bias toward USA's "character driven" shows, but I enjoyed "In Plain Sight", just like I enjoy Monk, Psych, and Burn Notice. It's fun to have a female US Marshall tool around Albuquerque, and the stories in the premiere episode felt real. The dog days of summer reruns are a long-buried memory. We get good stuff now. I'm happy.

JOrtizJun 2, 2008It is great. Even though she seems a litlte flaky, it's very real, it gives her a realistic feel.

TerryJul 16, 2008I really enjoy the show. I hope they leave it on.

JimG.Jun 16, 2008Mary McCormack is great. Although the pilot left a lot to be desired, really opening no new ground, the interplay between charactors was great. The storyline is also very interesting.

JeanM.Jun 2, 2008Show was a nothing. Little plot, no action, no interesting fights, uninteresting characters, and not even good scenery. Really poor. You lost this viewer.

EmiliaJ.Jun 5, 2008When we don't even sit through an entire episode, you know we hated something, because usually we try to allow shows to find their rhythm. But this one's tone-deaf and flat-footed, and life's too short to watch execrable TV, even for Mary McCormack, whom I loved in "Broken Hearts Club".

SheryJ.Jun 7, 2008I really hope this was going to be something it was not---I disliked this show--I will never watch it again,,,and sincerely hope they drop it and try something original...this was so stupid....it really bothers me---I did not enjoy this--it was very stupid not entertaining.

JohnR.Jul 4, 2008Mary McCormack is drowning in this show! Her talent is wasted with the listless scripts, the very unfunny characters and the awful supporting cast. Put the show out of its misery.

MissyHJul 9, 2008Not the greatest I've seen, but I certainly enjoy it and make a point of watching.

KristinD.Aug 3, 2008I have enjoyed the shows so far, although the writing could stand a bit of improvement. The characters are engaging and the banter is enjoyable.

SweeneyL.Jun 8, 2008Pretty good summer show. The writing could be improved but the characters are amusing.

TJG.Jul 1, 2008It's alright for the weekly hour of a show, but not as good as burn notice. I hope that later episodes will be better.

TedJul 18, 2008Great partners and interesting stories make for fun viewing. The sophisticated banter in the icing on the cake but it's probably over the heads of a lot of viewers. Mom and sis add nothing, however.

ChrisJ.Jul 6, 2008The characters blend well. The story is pretty average but is made up but excellent characters, and actors. I enjoy the conversations they have. Action is abound in this show and is a nice change of pace. McCormack is a strong woman but isn't an overbearing or a feminist.

GeorgeN.Jun 17, 2008The writing and plot is not the greatest but the actors make this show worth watching.

ErvinM.Jul 28, 2008Could be a good show, but relegates stars to typical Hollywood dysfunctional characters. Nothing redeeming about current story plots. Predict short life w/o major rewrite. Too bad. I was a deputy US Marshal and know how interesting this program could be-challenging Law & Order.

Oct 14, 2013Could like this show if I wasn't so focused on her top lip heading North. Baaadddd boxtox job. She looks ridiculous. Take away the upper lip and the strained smile the script aint too bad

Jul 14, 2019Great actors that seem to work well together. Enjoy the scripts. There are funny lines or scenes throughtout this show.

In Plain Sight is another attempt at mixing the jokey and the serious within a loose procedural format. But Sight’s writing is distressingly predictable, and McCormack’s character is the least interesting thing about the show.
-
Apart from its New Mexico setting and its witness protection angle, little stands out here. Stories are less than suspenseful and characters are mainly two-dimensional.
-
In Plain Sight is a definite for any summer TV To-Watch list; don't cross it off until you've seen at least one.
