    The format was designed by Richard Bacon, formerly of Blue Peter, and I think it works. The questions started off easy, such as "dead, alive or fictional" (although even here someone managed to answer that Manuel from Fawlty Towers was "dead"), but got increasingly harder. .... Carr is a quick, funny host.

    I’m not sure it has the potential to run for several series, but it works for now. Try it for yourself, and you might be taken aback by the limits of your recall.
