This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. What could've been a good show and a good season sees itself ruined by wanting to bring pacino back in some needless flashbacks and giving hitler too much screen time and thus cutting off most of the suspense and thrill for his capture, it felt rather ordinary and unexciting just like his portrayal in the show, and to catch the most well known villain we've come to know, aswell as some weird pacing most of times and of course some content made for today's "modern audience's" instead of just focusing on telling a good story Expand

The first season was good the second is boring and extremely confusing because of the constant time jumps

The two-season globetrotting curio ends its short-lived existence by never truly managing to maximize the boundless potential of its own premise.

Weil laces his drama with relevant debates about the morality of vigilantism, yet it’s all a put-on. Hunters is, at heart, a wild, colorful, violent wish-fulfillment saga. ... Hunters falters slightly, not because it doesn’t convincingly follow-through on its act of imagination but because it fails to wrestle with the underlying unjustness of such a procedure in the first place.

To its credit, season two streamlines things in some ways, even as it grows clunkier in others.
