Very entertaining and much more believable than any of the "Real Housewives" shows. I love Daryl and Grant is gorgeous. Danny is boring! Grant needs to be on a soap, he should be the next big soap star! Billy needs a coaching "gig", he'd be great! Charlie's fun to watch too. I'm sure it must be hard for these men for these "macho" men to play househusbands but they seem Very entertaining and much more believable than any of the "Real Housewives" shows. Househusbands is definitely something new and fresh in the world of reality TV since most reality TV consists of obnoxious women and sex and really annoying drama. It's original considering not many men are househusbands and it's nice to see their point of view and their wives' as well. I enjoy the show even though I hardly ever watch reality shows.

Househusbands pretends to be about shifting marital dynamics and social mores, and almost by accident, there is some evidence of that. Mostly, though, it's just another family sitcom starring a bunch of actors--and one ambitious morning TV host--auditioning for their next jobs.

Househusbands of Hollywood is a lot more real than I expected it to be.
  3. This show tackles a genuinely interesting issue: how high-achieving men cope with what society sees as demoting themselves by staying home while their wives earn the family money. It tackles that question in a calm and at times even insightful way.
