Dec 22, 2014Homeland morphed into an atrocious tv show where there's nothing at stake, when something interesting happens and it's immediately solved and now the show revolves in only drama and not into that frenetic pace of the start of the show were you had, drama, action and actually consequences.
The show lost it's way and you shouldn't watch it, I know the last episode made me quit. -
Dec 21, 2014Still it sucks ,Stay away,Same boring script continues with lot of plot holes. It wan't be good as season 1 and 2 .Quality of Show is dead and gone.
People watch it because they came so far and hard to give up. -
Dec 23, 2014Season 4 went for more like 24 and delivered to us the worst finale ever. Congratulations Showtime, you did it again. I loved what Homeland(S1) used to be: a psychological drama, a character study. It was slower-paced yet engaging. However, the show lost its way in this season.

We're getting the character we knew she was capable of being, with the added layer of new motherhood.... Admittedly, it's too early to declare definitively that Homeland is back, but I will say it's back to being a show I'm looking forward to watching, rather than one that made me angry as it lost its credibility mostly and lost its way completely.

Its downward slide shows signs of leveling off by the end of Sunday’s opening two hours. Danes’ Carrie is steelier than ever, her heart hardened to near-concrete while going about the exhilarating business of eliminating terrorists no matter what the collateral damage.

The show feels new again, but that doesn’t mean it feels fully refreshed, nor is it immune to painting itself into the same sort of corners it got stuck in before.
