Oct 3, 2010The 3rd series of Heroes was probably the 2nd best overall with the return of the twist and turns that had excited viewers during the 1st run. I'm not sure splitting the series up was a great idea but I think that critics and viewers alike were far to critical of it after its unfortunate writers guild incident. A shame,a real shame.

JessicaSep 30, 2008I am loving this season so far! I don't see how anyone can "not" love this show.

JRMMRJSep 10, 2009I loved season 1, I HATED, HATED season 2, but I loved every minute of season 3. Haven't checked out season 4 unfortunately, but looking forward to checking it out on DVD. I just had a great time watching, that's all there is to it.

NickSep 10, 2009I thought the first half of the third season (Villains) was the worst this show has ever offered, but that the second half (Fugitives) was one of the best. Watch the second half.

MarkM.Oct 7, 2008The anticipation for the third installment has been high. Except it has been so long since the season two finale it's challenging to remember everything that is going on. So far, I personally believe that Season 3 has lived up to Heroes hype. The primary focus being the Villians gives a different change of secenery and let's Kring dive deeper into his dark creative mind.

ElginW.Nov 12, 2008I'm glad to see Heroes return to it's original form after last seasons horrible display.

BillB.Nov 18, 2008Frankly I'm amazed and quite shocked that people can give a series a score after a single episode. I at least watched a half dozen before giving it a low 9.

JordanK.Nov 3, 2008Great start to the season. One may see that this season is heading in a great direction. Great so far, the premier may have been awkward and confusing, but it was only created to have people try to fill in the blanks themselves, brainstorm a little bit. Heroes took the once predictable but crazy climaxes into a mysterious darkness that needs to be resolved through a series of unfortunate events.

ThomasW.Oct 24, 2008Season one = amazing season two = not so great, but could of been worse (stupid writer strike) Season three = back to what this show is about, amazing story, with plots and twist around every corner, when you think you got something figured out, they shove it in your face and say wrong! great!

AnthonyM.Sep 24, 2008A return to form after the dreary second season. This is more like it!

JoeyM.Sep 24, 2008"Heroes" is back at a furious pace this season. Gone (so far) are many of the things that made last season so tedious - though they kept Maya. On the positive side, the first two episodes of this season are action packed and full of plot points that resolve quickly and with some decent payoff. Not quite as exciting as Season 1, but infinitely better than Season 2. I shall be watching!

ChrisSep 24, 2008Its everything I have hoped for, more action, more answers, more questions, more powers, more awesome.

NaviSep 26, 2008Pretty decent season premiere. The only thing that bothered me was how it was turning into Bioshock. Suresh literally injected himself with powers, just like what the main character did in Bioshock. The time travelling storyline also reminded me a lot about Star Trek Enterprise Season 3.

DoctorO.Sep 27, 20081st episode seemed like it tried to tackle too many threads within 2 hours. We'll see what happens over the season... Maybe it was just enough to tease.

Jun 27, 2015It is hard to rate this because it is broken into two volumes. I enjoy Villains slightly more than fugitives. That being said, no its not as good as the first season... everyone needs to let that go... thats why they struggle to enjoy it. If you just have fun and go along, you'll see there are still great stories in this series.

Jul 4, 2022A return to the very much missed quality of the first season proving it only stumbled due to the writer's strike. Another time hoping epic that decidedly borrows from the X-men in the direction of it's registration arc and assassination plot

NBC sent the first hour of tonight's two-hour season premiere to critics, and it's sprinkled with some of the original fun: inventive special effects, a twist or two, some nifty gore. That doesn't stop it from being the same, familiar mess.
-
Based on the first action-packed and fun episode, it looks like Kring and crew have succeeded in pulling out of their sophomore slump.

Even just a half hour in, it's difficult not to wish everyone would just lighten the heck up. The graphic novel noir feel is becoming increasingly oppressive, and everyone is just so grim.
