As in the two previous stories, “The Bourbon King” moves at a brisk pace, alternating interviews with real-life subjects with re-creations set to catchy music as the craziness spirals out of control. All three of these tales have more than enough material to make for a feature-length film.

Heist is a change of pace from the usual Netflix true crime docuseries, which by itself warrants a recommendation. Whether you think that these heists and the people who pulled them off deserve such an upbeat spotlight is up to you, but the series itself is visually interesting and well-executed.

Playing fast and loose with the truth has a way of undermining the entire series. I didn’t trust anything I saw on screen after that. Still, it’s fascinating viewing, if a relatively inelegant format.

It is occasionally trashy – the first, in particular, goes to town on the reconstructions – sometimes funny, tense and exciting. In terms of taking sides, it can be playfully, cheekily on-the-fence.

Nice decision to break each story into two parts. I probably wouldn't have watched if they were 3 movies, it's much easier to find 40 minutes than 1.5 hours.

Dobry dokument-serial. Można zobaczyć jak życie ludzi doprowadza czasami na drogę przestępczości. Polecam.
