The portrayal of the 2 main characters Nick and Charlie are definitely stand-out performances. The supporting cast, while occasionally under-utilised, also give convincing enough performances but this show is let down massively by its writing and dialogue, which could be seen as intentionally awkward and sweet but is flat-out unwatchable at times, and sounds nothing like British Teenagers. However the show is incredibly heart-warming and its representations were very refreshing and educational. This show has potential to become one of the current generation's best if it develops its main characters to the level of Nick and Charlie, fixes its awful dialogue, and by simply becoming more complex in a potential second season.
