This season is kinda like the journey of Nick and Charlie escaped the Garden of Eden and grow from innocent teenage lovers into a pair of real couple who look after, trust and take care one another. Love it! Just have to say it again: People who hate Heartstopper must be allergic to happiness.

A saccharine romantic triumph that not only celebrates queer love but prioritizes its joys. Aiming to show all the beauty, heartbreak and satisfaction that comes with learning to be yourself so you can love others. Loved this season.

What it does is offer a kind of entry-level queer-world starter kit for people who aren’t quite ready for It’s a Sin. It’s television with the guts to be radically sensitive, and that never gets old.

Heartstopper’s sophomore season expands its scope while staying true to Season 1’s youthful spirit of first crushes, heartbreak, and the complicated transition into adulthood.

Expanding on what made it so great in its first run, Heartstopper season two is an impeccable depiction of adolescent joy and queer love.
