By season end, there’s plenty of material to grow on and from, and ample reason to give Harlem a second season to do so. ... I just wish the development of the characters kept pace with the show’s progressive foundation.

I wanted something light hearted and fun, but this is SO boring and unoriginal.

It's so unoriginal and uninspired, the only part that felt remotely "new" is that "Samantha" is a butch lesbian here, but even that, putting a lesbian in a show in 2021 is not daring or groundbreaking. Racists and misogynists tanking the user score as usual. I haven't watched yet. Just trying to do the opposite of what they're doing.
