Summary: The newest threat in the Georgia prison system isnt a drug or a weapon its a cell phone. Five years ago, cell phones were a rare find; in the last year, however, the system confiscated 6,000 of them from prisons statewide. Many inmates claim they use them for innocent ends: to keep in touch with family and friends in the outside world.
