this are pretty good sci-fi series.. full of actions.. I love Pablo Schreiber, he is tall & fit and perfect for this role.. I just wish I can binge watch.

The writing is pure agenda-driven garbage. Every female is a Mary Sue, and every male is incompetent. Fan Fiction is defined as an element in the story that has nothing to do with plot, that is simply there to titillate the audience. So everyone saying this is Fan Service is not using that term properly. If a scantly clad woman walks into a scene, jumps up and down a few times, then walks out of the scene. Or a heavily muscled man walks out, removes his shirt, flexes a bit, then walks out, these two examples would be Fan Service. The after credit scene in No Way Home was fan service, but since GG/Doc were integral to the story they are not fan service.… Expand

Big fan of the series, played every campaign. I love the original trilogy and the story told within, that being said, I loved this pilot.

All the actors seem to have done a great job at portraying their characters- especially Master Chief and Dr. Halsey. I'm excited for the next episode!!

I've only seen episode 1 but so far episode 1 was fantastic! I read that episode 2 isn't as good so I'm bracing for that.

But I really like how episode 1 went. For the special effects, most of it was great. Like when the kids were vaporized looked good. There was that bad shot where Master Chief was jumping and it looked fake but somehow jumping has looked fake in a lot of CGI (remember when Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan jumped down from the grill?). Master Chief's armor looks amazing. But rest of silver squad's armor didn't look as good. I guess they wanted MC to look special.

There is enough unknown and intrigue to want to see where the series goes.

What I'm wondering is if the rest of the series holds up in the look because it's common for a huge budget to be dedicated to the pilot and the rest goes down. Like in Spielberg's Falling Skies which was really expensive in the beginning (when Spielberg was directing) and then when the series was handed off, the budget also dropped.… Expand

Master chief looks like a clown with that big A nose I mean really he looks like the guy at your local Costco threw on some space armor and was like hello I’m here everybody no experience but I’m gonna save the galaxy frickin clownin out here. Don't even get me started on his voice not even close did they bother to even listen to how he sounds oh but he’s a younger version well if that’s chief young I guess they decided to grow his testicles back later. Just please don’t watch and support this. Can someone explain why in this time and generation we are in they’re just ruining so many great franchises because they want to be politically correct/woke or whatever stupid nonsense peoples mentality’s are these days.… Expand

The vast majority of the scenes are so badly written that they make you want to facepalm yourself to bad injuries.
The sets and special effects are overwhelmingly cheap and poorly designed that it looks like they were made by a first-year student.
And all this is only in the first episode of the series. If the creators could not set the quality bar in the first series, then it will only get worse.
The only thing the show could be praised for is the design of the aliens and Spartan armor.
Other than that, don't waste your time watching this show. Especially if you love Halo.… Expand

Awful woke garbage, identity politics, flimsy costumes and weapons, terrible cgi, bad writing, not Canon at all. Not even the right voice for master chief. Typical Viacom cbs killing another franchise just like they killed star trek.

Being a different and fresh version of the saga, it is just what I expected, I hope it continues to improve, personally I liked it even though it is different from video games.

There are some gripes I have but nothing I can’t live with to enjoy the show, I am not a big fan of the face reveal and I hope they show 117 with his helmet on for most the show, nothing against the actor but that’s the thing why with master chief he is a mystery in his own way. We should keep it that way. I do like that we are getting a lot more character development with him tho it’s a great way too look at things. The cgi is great, Other than the Spartans feeling a little light mostly everything else is prettey too Teri. The story like so far is going in a direction I really didn’t see comming, and I don’t love it but I don’t hate it. It has sparked my interest tho and I hope the show keeps its momentum… Expand

Based on the first episode, it's a good fan service, but with a bunch of problems. My mainly concern is if they tried to put some boring side character with a stupid revenge story, that master chief needs do baby sit.

It’s not canon, it’s not a video game. So if you rate it on it’s own as a show it’s good. As a long time fan since Halo CE and reading the books it’s good.
