It’s rare to find acting and screenwriting this awesome in a tv show. They definitely do Batman justice. One of the best if not the best show on television. They should not have cancelled this. this series has made me approach and fall in love with the world of gotham, I am very sorry that FOX has decided to cancel the series and I hope they will reconsider.

Gotham is a series that you will enjoy if you are a Batman fan. Otherwise, I do not think it offers enough to attract audiences outside the mythology of Batman or DC Comics

A roller coaster of a show... Some characters are great (Nygma, Penguin...) and are stealing the show... Others are bad written and deserves better (Barbara Gordon, Bruce Wayne...) Some arcs are good, others are boring.

the artistic choices to make Gotham City credible...
the action and an interesting take on the Batman's origin story...

However, as other reviewers mentioned, performances of Penquin, Selina, and others are good enough to make it worth watching.… Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Gotham is a show about bruce wayne before batman and his rogues gallery. The Penguin is just an Umbrella Boy who rises in power to become one of the biggest crime lords in all of gotham. The Riddler is just a forensics guy who turns into a mastermind criminal who commits the most evil crimes but always leaves clues. The Joker is amazing cause there are two jokers. Catwoman is also in this and she has good chemistry with bruce. Jim Gordon is the one man who can stop them until it is time for batman to come. Definitely the best batman show ever made!… Expand
