Awesome and funny! The cast is strong. ! The show world has sometimes its own set of rules (especially about gunshot wounds) but it’s the best antidepressant!

Good Girls is somewhat like the show Weeds, but with half as much charisma and far less believability. For a much better rendition (the original?) of the whole "suburban mother, struggling financially, turns to crime - and the ensuing drama and intrigue", just watch Weeds. The story arc and character development is so much better than Good Girls, though I think that show went on for too many seasons. All of that aside, I'm a fan of these actresses and found the first two seasons of Good Girls to be entertaining and fun. I'll definitely be watching the third season when it premieres in February.… Expand

So, I was convinced by my girlfriend to watch a TV Show on Netflix that talks about 3 Woman that were having some money issues and decided to leave a life on crime. My first thought was: ok, were did i already see something just like that? That's right! On Breaking Bad. That, alone, is not a real problem but we gonna get to it. So, the similarity between the description of the two series made me get a little bit interested on this show, just to see how they would try to innovate the idea of "perfect people" who never did nothing *really* wrong, going through a life of crime. Even reluctant to watch, i did and i don't regret it. The tones of humor in the series ere the thing that actually hooked me up. There are two mainly things that i want to talk about "Good Girls". 1. The Build of Beth's character
Unfortunately, for me, Beth was the chosen one to be the main character and even knowing the reason to that, makes me a little sad. Beth is a weak character and that's not a problem to all the characters. Leslie for example is a really good character, you know why he's funny and why we hate him. But when we get to Beth, we don't understand what's going on. They tried so hard to be inspired by Breaking Bad that they forgot that the series needed to make sense. Beth is a bad attempt to make a Female Walter White and you can see it right away. The whole speech of "I did it for you" and the personas like Walt and Heisenberg, the Badass Beth and the Mommy Beth just doesn't work properly in the series. Her motivations were never clear enough to make you believe. Another similarity is "the love for the danger" that doesn't fit in it too. 2. The Phone in the Pockets of the Wrong Body
So, Leslie "death" made me a little sad, because he was a good character and the actor was doing an amazing job. The scene of the three woman listening to Marion's voice mail was really good and powerful. But, suddenly, you discover that Leslie is actually alive and the body that they throw away was a body of someone who died 4 months before. So, how the phone was at that man's pocket? So, the series is not well written at all, but is kinda funny and have some good characters on it. The direction is ok and the actor's too. I like the whole Annie's plot and the Stan Dilema. Dean is a character who had improve some much in the course of the series. I hope they fix some issues in the next Season.… Expand
