Perhaps it’s because Ghosts’ writers also penned and performed in Horrible Histories that this storyline felt like a primer on the Elizabethan age, as well as a revival of a regular segment on that show, namely Stupid Deaths. Read full review

Thought this season was an upgrade on the previous two, it just felt more consistent and I enjoyed some of the more light-hearted but with a serious(ish) undertone of many of the episodes.
