Season 1 Review: There's palpable give-and-take energy throughout the young ensemble and even the performances that don't instantly mesh — Sanchez is maybe more naturalistic than the show around her, while Alexander's character demands to annoy you — are still good vehicles for the clever dialogue. This show is amazing it captures the relaxes bright vibes of 80s 90s teen shows with the modern style of what it’s like being young queer insecure and in love.

Incredible, relevant, raw and amazing performances!

So important to queer and bipoc folks who never saw themselves represented in this light on screen before. Beautiful character arcs and mesmerizing cinematography that adds to the emotional complexity of these characters relationships andIncredible, relevant, raw and amazing performances!

I've never felt so seen on screen before this show. Thank you Zelda Barnz for creating such a heartfelt show and giving us this characters that mean so much to me, specially Greta and Riley!

So refreshingly real, with PERFECT comedic timing & characters you won’t be able to resist. My life will now be divided into two parts: Before Genera+ion S1 finale & after the Genera+ion S1 finale…

I wish I had this show growing up. The queer representation, the diversity, the nuance in the characters, and in the storytelling, are all noteworthy. Chester and Arianna alone are reason enough to watch the show but all of the kids from the GSA stand out on the screen.

There is some great stuff in this. I love Nathan, and I hate Arianna. And that's kind of the problem with this show: It's so well written most of the time and well acted. But you are also forced to watch some of the most obnoxious, annoying, arrogant, narcissistic characters for 16 episodes.There is some great stuff in this. I love Nathan, and I hate Arianna.
