May 23, 2019Money lost can be earnt back. Time spent watching Game of Thrones, following the characters, their storyline, reading reviews, watching clips on YouTube related to GOT, discussing episodes with friends and colleagues are all efforts wasted that you can never get back.

May 25, 2019What a disappointment. What gets me most is how they were thinking the fans are gonna be too stupid to see through this mess.
The biggest waste in Entertainment History. -
Jun 9, 2019The worst end to a once great show. Had made rewatching it pointless with such a boring and miserable end. Nothing made sense in the final season, it was like the writers hated fans of the show.

Jun 1, 2019Wasted many years of my life !!!So much buildup for nothing, makes me feel that I wasted so many years of my life and money. I loved the surprices, but everything was rushed , I hated John's first dragon flight ( was not funny).

Don't waste your time on season 8 -
Jul 4, 2020Poor writing, illogical plot line, underwhelming. Great performances, beautiful production. This season has all the tools to become the best thing on television, yet it ended up being a pile of steamy poo.

May 8, 2021I don’t think it’s possible to have written a worse ending to this brilliant brilliant series. It’s so incredibly horrible I actually believe they tanked it on purpose. I’ll never understand how they could have let this happen... even the actors in interviews about the last season are visibly disturbed about how it ended.

May 12, 2019Huh. Careful exposition of 7 seasons, and then rush B in one season. Thnx for killing the show.

Jul 2, 2019What a total waste. What a complete shame. This could have been a masterpiece. Instead, it ended with a whimper.

May 23, 2019Great series - but after the books stopped the serie writers cant hold the high level. The last to episodes was more than the worsed.

May 15, 2019This season looks like screenplay writers didn't watch previous seasons at all! Nothing apply what was this show preparing for climax. None of prophecies ... Nothing. Jon Snow suddenly become weak and useless. Hope Martin would write real ending of this...

Apr 29, 2019Can't see anything, everything feels like filler, awful acting and dialogue especially with the younger female characters, stupid, incoherent battle of winterfell.
-
May 12, 2019I am disappointed with this season as it is the last one. I am also disappointed with the direction the series is taking and how likely it will end.
Awards & Rankings
-
The premiere pulled everyone and everything together; it was, for the most part, an almost nostalgic hour. ... It is the competing loyalties, the loves and enmities that enmesh the Lannisters, Starks, Targaryens and the rest, after all, and the questions Game of Thrones poses about conscience and corruption and the manifestations of power, that will propel us through to the end.
-
As in season 7, the big problem with “Winterfell”—the reason it felt more like an unlucky videographer’s rendering of an exceptionally dysfunctional family reunion than like a carefully crafted story—was the pacing.
-
The show has stepped up its pacing. For the most part, that has been immensely satisfying, yielding crowd-pleasing moments that the and that the series generally avoided in the often-grim journey, especially for the Stark kids, which has led to this point.
