May 20, 2019If I could rate this show purely on its technical merits, I'd give it full marks. Unfortunately, Game of Thrones has always purported to be less of a visual spectacle than an epic and brutally realistic saga. So in judging the final season on the terms it set for itself in earlier seasons, it's nothing short of a disaster.

May 21, 2019Compared to previous seasons, this was just done in a hurry. You could tell the writers did not want to spend any more time with it. Many seasons spent on the slow growth of characters and theirs stories was just sent to the trash with an extreme makeover of almost everyone and everything. The worst kind of ending that is possible.

May 13, 2019واقعا این فصل خیلی خراب شده
تمام داستان ها رو دارن گند میزنن -
May 21, 2019At the last possible moment show abandons most of its plot lines, throws away character arcs and hurriedly sprints to the most cliche ending imaginable...
Even the wonderful music, cinematography and acting can't salvage what is in essence poorly written fan-fiction, with so many plot holes its hard to believe its' a work of professional writers... -

May 16, 2019This season would have been better if they gave us nothing at all. “Abysmal” doesn’t even touch it.
-
May 16, 2019Nice cinematography (except for the black screen that was most of episode 3), lots of action, god awful writing. The music was mostly great.
-
May 16, 2019When the material no longer came from George R.R. Martin it has truly became unwatchable or just laughable.
-
May 16, 20196 episode wont be good because previous were so stupid and unlogical, Wise and Benioff are super dump persons so ruined such masterpiece

May 18, 2019Terrible storytelling and lack of complexity. Clearly can't write without having a book to base your story off of.
-
May 19, 2019I think it's very good season for ending..Not like a fairytale story ends..

May 19, 2019The worst season ever. Thanks god it’s final season, we’re leaving this show anyway. Reckless treatmen from writers . A lot of plot holes. They ruined the show.

May 20, 2019Feels like a waste of 7 years investment in the show and characters. Could have done with atleast another season. All too rushed.

May 20, 2019What a seasonal **** without a gram of coherence, just missing Drogon falling in love with a donkey, as in Sherk
-
May 20, 2019It is terrible to imagine that the one that was once the biggest TV series, ended in a ridiculous way with the final story full of holes, ignoring their own plot and disrespecting whoever accompanied it for eight years
-
May 20, 2019Amazing!!! Good as ever. A lot of people are making this season out to be bad, however, the writing, spectacle and and music is as fantastic as ever! Would highly recommend

The premiere pulled everyone and everything together; it was, for the most part, an almost nostalgic hour. ... It is the competing loyalties, the loves and enmities that enmesh the Lannisters, Starks, Targaryens and the rest, after all, and the questions Game of Thrones poses about conscience and corruption and the manifestations of power, that will propel us through to the end.
-
As in season 7, the big problem with “Winterfell”—the reason it felt more like an unlucky videographer’s rendering of an exceptionally dysfunctional family reunion than like a carefully crafted story—was the pacing.
-
The show has stepped up its pacing. For the most part, that has been immensely satisfying, yielding crowd-pleasing moments that the and that the series generally avoided in the often-grim journey, especially for the Stark kids, which has led to this point.
