    A bittersweet documentary that left me feeling sad rather than enlightened or blown away. Most documentaries have a story to tell, but The Last Watch merely showcases the life of the Game of Thrones crew without delving too deeply into why this story matters. They don't make many appearances, and when they do, they look as if they couldn't care less about the story they've been telling for so long. It just made me feel sad that a show with such great acting, special effects, music, and cinematography was completely undercut by a lazy script.… Expand

    This documentary about the making of the final season of Game of Thrones was better than the final season of Game of Thrones by a long shot. It shows just how difficult it is to put together a season of a big budget TV show, and it spotlighted several people involved in production that normally wouldn't be seen at all.

    With dull pacing, an off-putting soundtrack, and poor camerawork, "The Last Watch" unfortunately feels like an amateurish attempt at a documentary about Game of Thrones' final season.
