Future Man is a delightful little romp of a show. Loved Eliza Coupe in "Happy Endings" but she did a 180° character turn here, not sure I like that casting choice but all the others work well. They make knowing references to Back to the Future, and the Terminator films. It's more comedy than drama so keep that in mind. Several of the episodes are really memorable: the end of episode 6 is incredibly "mind blowing", yes there's a pun there. Episode 7 is over-the-top celebrity worship of James Cameron, but in a humorous way, that one episode is worth everything. There's a few episodes that feature the raw intensity of "Wolf" in the 80s and those are great too. The season finale pretty much ties the storyline up but leaves a foot-in-the-door for a next season if that happens. Finally, this is definitely an R-rated series mainly for sexual references and content but it's not that way in every episode, maybe a third or so of the 13 eps. Expand

Took a couple eps to get going, but the three main characters really grew on me and the second half of the season is hilarious. Great mix of comedy and sci-fi.

This show made me laugh out loud many times! I could watch the adventures of Josh, Tiger and wolf all day long.... Esp wolfs episode. Which is what I did and I managed to finish season 1 in a day. Thankyou so much for making this! Please may there be a season 2.... RIP Glenne Headly.

Its a fun little time travel romp, if one dont take it to seriously its a great time.
Likely hard to motivate such a high grade using facts and logics but what it all comes down to is after all did I have a good time watching it, and yes i certainly did.

It's crude, immature and full of dated references. It's definitely not for everyone but for many it'll be a fun trip from start to finish. Switch off your brain and enjoy the ride.

The writing shows brilliance here and there, but there are also scenes/gags that you absolutely know Seth Rogen wrote. Surprisingly, the development of Wolf as a character is the best thing Future Man does.

Just got done binge watching the entire show and loved it. Lots of gags and yeah a bit of low brow humor but the show does not take itself too seriously and neither should you. There was a couple of slower moments but as a whole I enjoyed the first season and laughed harder than I have in a long time while watching anything else on Hulu.

It's a fun show with a little bit of gross out humor, over the top violence at times, and no the whole logic of the time traveling is hardly understandable which the characters in the show admit to all the time.

An excellent overall effort that was highly enjoyable. Wolf is by far my favorite. I'm a fan of Future Man and I will be hoping for a second season.

Pretty darn funny. It's a great cast of characters with sometimes over the top antics that together come together for a great parody of sci-fi and action movies.

I found the show a welcome change to the run of the mill rubbish that is pumped out. Yes the humour is out there, but if you get the jokes and the constant references made in the show along with the crazy lines and plot without taking everything so seriously then you will binge watch Future Man.

Cant wait for season 2 loved every minute of it and didn't want it to end.

I really dislike Hulu for all sorts of good reasons, but was convinced to take on a trial membership for this show. The writing and the acting are really unbelievably good. It's funny in a bro sort of way, but maintains a really good balance between wit, outrageousness and nostalgia.

Ended up binging through the series in one night, which I've not done in years.

This is just blunt, crude humor, finally a show in today's era that doesn't focus on every episode having to have sex in it. Pleasant change from the current fad of TV shows that have been released in the passed 2-3 years.

When janitor Josh Futturman becomes the first person to ever complete the video game Biotic Wars, two characters from the game suddenly appear in his room and recruit him to save the World.

Nothing about Future Man is exactly subtle, but every episode in this first season is entertaining, and providing you don’t mind smutty you’ll probably find it pretty funny as well.

Far from perfect, but it is a great parody of science fiction movies. I am not a gamer so I imagine I am missing a few of the jokes.

Not all episodes are equally strong, but Pandora's Mailbox (the James Cameron episode) had me laughing so hard I was missing some the jokes there were so many great jokes being delivered so fast.

I am looking forward to the next season.

A pretty funny first season with some hilarious crude running jokes and some interesting, albeit nonsensical, time travel logic. Future man combines a comic book aesthetic with a light on its feet attitude.

Man season 1 was so good it is worth a 10/10 but season 2 just ruins everything, They destroy the whole dynamic between the characters in season 2 and its like the stuff that happened in season 1 never happened and there was obvious political points in parts of season 2 that should have been left out. Absolutely no politics in my opinion I expect better from Seth Rogen. How do give a show a rating of 30. Plot twist after plot twist the show gets better and better. I love it the shocking ending and huge cliff hanger for next season make a great climax. But the show also makes us emotionally attached to the characters. Overall I would give this show a 30 if I could.

Witty, self-deprecating, and in love with the time travel/sci fi genre, Future Man delivers a great homage to such works of the 80s/90s. Once you know that Future Man is written and produced by Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, Kyle Hunter, and Ariel Shaffir, the team behind the epically uncouth cartoon Sausage Party, further explanation becomes almost totally unnecessary. It's a comic onslaught against video-gamers and their culture of the past 30 years or so, with the occasional random shot at baby boomers so they won't be left out of the fun.

Despite the game energy of its cast, Future Man is mostly routine homage, with very little substance shoring up its derivative foundations.
