Season 1 Review: Sure, its plot is beyond far-fetched (I do not think agents in the field halt their operations to take calls from their clueless fiancés), but the various prison breaks and assorted capers are sharply edited together and clever. Season 1 Review: By its third episode, FUBAR is already skipping like a horribly scratched record, having its two leads rehash their bedrock gripes to brain-numbingly unrewarding ends. .... There’s plenty of action in FUBAR, but it’s of an amateurish sort, and lowlighted by the show’s directors shooting and cutting around the fact that the 75-year-old Schwarzenegger doesn’t move like he used to—or, for that matter, much at all. .... I have waited so long for something like this. Schwarzenegger is beautifully cast. There is lightness, humour and presence - instead of rushing through super fast paced action with a narrative driven by shock and conflict, the characters find themselves faced with action, horror and humanI have waited so long for something like this. Shocking things happen and things do move fast but there's time to be present with everything going on. My nervous system can finally cope. This is seriously addictive watching. Because there's time to be present, the impact is amplified for every surprise. You can put yourself fully in the picture. Love this, so grateful. When can we have more please.… Expand

Great cast and quite a lot of fun. Of course the plot is silly and outlandish, but the jokes land and even the deeper moments work. Take it for what it is: pure entertainment, not something to think about after watching. And who knows, if this is Arnie‘s last action gig at 76, it‘s worthGreat cast and quite a lot of fun. Everything about this is just delightful.

CHARACTERS: Every character is brilliantly written. They all have their own quirks and relationships with each other. The show does an excellent job of playing the characters off each other. In doing so, you see new dimensions to the charactersEverything about this is just delightful.

In doing so, you see new dimensions to the characters unfold over time. You'll both be emotionally engaged with the character, while also laughing out loud at the situations they get themselves in.

PLOT:
The plot certainly lives up to the title of FUBAR, as there's always something going wrong. The disasters create an equal mix of suspense amd humor.

ACTION:
Despite having a strong comedy flavor to it, FUBAR is no slough in the action, with some beautifully choreographed scenes.

The middle parts of each episode can sometimes be a little slow as they set the table for what's to come. But other than that, this is an exceptional show!… Expand

Aweful. Arnie is just too old to do action anymore, or really much of anything if this series is anything to go by. His onscreen Mary Sue daughter is an insufferable **** and is painfully difficult to watch. Coupled with this, the supporting cast are boring and forgettable. The writing isAweful. Series name checks out, the irony is not lost on us. Nuff said. The one who did the best job is Arnie's agent who probably got this fading star a huge paycheck to ride into the sunset with, not looking back at the mess he left.

In the first few minutes it was great to see Arnold back in action again. No longer are series about entertainment for the viewers, it's all about pushing political agendas nowadays. Even action series are not safe from this woke agenda, perhaps these studios should know their viewership!… Expand
