Fringe: Season 4 for me is overall a large disappointment, because of one simple reason- I didn't like the story. The story frustrated me personally as I'd become so invested in the earlier seasons that this sudden change of story wasn't a welcome one for me. The actors put in brilliant performances, but their characters felt like completely different people to me, it's as if they scrapped the whole storylines of certain characters and restarted them again, making them feel like new characters to me. There is actually an attempt to resolve this but it feels extremely forced to me and made me dislike this season even more. Of course there are a couple of hidden gems in this season, including "Worlds Apart" and "Letters of Transit", however neither of these are anywhere near the best episodes. Also, two of the shows best two characters make returns, and while both of them are excellent, they can't carry the show.… Expand
