The world may have changed, but Foyle has lost none of his brusque appeal, even though he appears sulkier than usual to be drawn back into the shadows to protect pawns in an increasingly deadly conflict. It's great to have him back. Read full review

Even the actors in the smallest roles are three-dimensional, a rich tribute to Britain’s theatrical talent. If these are, as Horowitz claims, the last episodes of Foyle he writes, both he and his longtime actor-collaborators are bowing out on a very high note indeed. Read full review
