The women here, over the five episodes screened for review, remain eminently more interesting than the men. .... But that's a pretty minor complaint—and, all in all, the show delivers on its promise, offering a fresh and sudsy take on the archetypes and hallmarks of a well-worn genre.

In “Found,” intricate flashbacks that showcase 16-year-old Gabi (Azaria Carter) and her captor, Sir (Mark-Paul Gosselaar), elevate the series to a “Scandal”-level of intrigue. .... Extremely binge-able with an incredibly strong Hampton leading the charge as an Olivia Pope for the missing.

If the cases of the week get a little better, and the backstories of the regular characters — especially the biggest one — are written well, Found has the potential to be an above average network procedural.

The procedural aspects are typical for a meh broadcast drama, but there’s a “Gabi’s hiding a secret” twist that’s way over the top.

Well, it isn't good, but it has some underlying points that it wants to make about contemporary law enforcement, even if it rarely sticks with those points long enough to say anything persuasive. It has some characters who are complicated, despite the rampaging exposition.

["Found"] leans so far into its clichés that it becomes more of a soap opera than a traditional network procedural. This one is just a misfire on all levels, a show so dense with overheated dialogue and character choices that it verges on parody.
