this is a great show! The tension and sometimes unfortunate events that take place in the quest for the moon really make the show a standout.

Yes, it's heavier on the drama than 12yo future-tech-fetishists would prefer, but that only makes it more compelling, because the acting is world class. Absolutely can't wait for S2, already watched S1 a second time to refresh my memory. How anyone is rating this anything less than an 8 is blowing my mind. Expand

After seeing this series i would have prefered that the Sovjet Union landed first on the moon. That would have helped the spaceindustrie more than USA landing first!

Apple produces the show so I was naturally worried about the level of wokeness and political correctness, but everything is ok. It's dramatic story, cinematography and top class acting makes it one of the best things I've ever seen. The best thing probably, is that there are twists in every episode that you wouldn't expect and the show makes you really care about the people in it. Every character there is unique with their own set of problems, but none of the issues (even political) are absurd of over the line. For All Mankind is absolutely the reason to subscribe to Apple TV+. Expand

It takes a while to get into, got my attention from around episode 4. All I got to say is keep with it as it all comes together mid way through the season.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I love science fiction and have been a space nerd since a child, so I was really looking forward to this series. However a large part of every episode is effectively devoted to almost caricaturing the traditional housewife role whilst promoting the advancement of women's and gay rights. Whilst this has a lot of merit, it's also sometimes too big a push back in the context of the late 1960's / early 1970's setting. The sudden emergence of a class of almost superhero-like female astronauts starts to stretch credibility, as does Wernher von Braun's advocacy of Margo Madison's career to Flight Director. But fast forward over all the PC filler and there is a good storyline and great scenes, but it's 30 minutes an episode, not an hour. Expand

I came across it by pure chance and it absolutely struck a nerve with me. It beautifully merges elements of history, the space race, sci-fi and realism into a completely unique story. While not all the subplots are super-egaging the overall arc and generational story-telling makes it quite a unique experience and absolutely worth your while. It also has some of the best and most tense space-scenes since Gravity. Expand

I really enjoyed this show. It has a great premise and is super fun. I do agree the SJW politics really harmed the show in later seasons. That is the weakest part of the show. It does make me sad I live in our time line rather then this one HA!

I love how engaging they are not just with the technology but with correlating the evolution of our social and political world.
