Summary: Dora arrives at Colonel Geoffrey Maddock's house, accompanied by Maddock's brother Arthur and his wife Prudence.

While Dora is going through the woods, she sees a group of louts chasing some horses, that belong to the local Squire. She follows the louts and sees that they have left a horse for dead. Dora proceeds to fetch her uncle andDora arrives at Colonel Geoffrey Maddock's house, accompanied by Maddock's brother Arthur and his wife Prudence.
