This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Okay - I was a big fan of s1 was looking forward to s2 release. I had to turn it off at episode 2 when I realised they are just recycling the same story line from s1 and it just got ridiculous. **spoiler alert** s2 e2 Emily spends the whole few scenes trying to stop Camille from sleeping with someone as she plots for her and Gabriele to get back together even though she sleeps with Ganrielle and Gabrielle is only interested in Camille. How immature to try and medal in someone's life like that - let Camille sleep with who she wants don't spend the show with this non sense story line. Done with the show Expand

This show is terrible. That's all that needs to be said about it. A show in Paris for someone that has never been to Paris. The insulting of nations and boring script. Avoid this garbage.

This show is just embarrassing. Don't waste your time if you are real fan of humor and fashion. It's not "Sex in the big City" at all. It's cheesy cheap insulting cringe! And netflix, stop accept money for placing propaganda against Ukrainians.

As with season one, Emily in Paris is a very easygoing show. There's nothing too dramatic about the storylines, the cast are all likeable, and the locations and outfits all present an idealised version of a publicists' life in Paris.

Emily in Paris is, in many ways, a perfect show for Netflix, as it serves as a great palette cleanser, to be dipped into between movies or binges of other shows. That being said, of course, as with everything made by Netflix, it raises the downvoting bot army, that Disney pays to attack everything Netflix do. Suffice to say, it's not a show that anyone could ever hate, just as it's not a show that will ever earn 10/10.
Fun, easygoing, light and incapable of raising anyones anger, unless they've been paid to faux fume.

Decided to catch up on Emily in Paris ahead of season 3 and season 2 was another super fun season. The costumes are just exceptional especially ones wore by Jeremy O. Harris, Lily Collins, Ashley Park, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Jean-Christophe Bouvet, and Camille Razat. The hairstyling and makeup is excellent especially on Lily Collins and Ashley Park. Series two has not changed at all, packing in the same old “oh là là” French clichés and being almost gleefully bad.

With a few small exceptions, Emily in Paris Season 2 is basically just more of the same, and who could ask for anything more? ... Emily in Paris remains an undeniably watchable delight, short on substance but long on satisfaction.

Everyone is over-acting to a borderline unconvincing amount. The series’ narrative progression is carefully curated to appeal to the tastes and sensibilities of viewers. ... Nothing happening in the series may be real, or important, but that’s never Star’s goal. Rather, each episode in Season Two is nothing more than a 30-minute escape, peering into a world that is mere fantasy, and is all the more entertaining for it, which, in this case, is enough.
