Oct 14, 2021A kids show at best and shouldn't be aired during prime-time hours. Not at all like the original Doogie Houser series. Definitely off my "to watch" list of new shows. Waste of air time.

From the scant evidence of two episodes, the new “Doogie” seems to be less about learning life lessons — Neil Patrick Harris was generally quiet and serious in the original — than in scampering comedy and moony romance.

Doogie Kamealoha, M.D. is a delightful remake of a well-loved ’80s show that immediately distinguishes itself from the original by its setting and the well-thought-out cast of characters.
