Does Someone Have to Go? is not easy to watch, though it is engrossing to see how alliances are formed and trust is broken.
-
"Lord of the Flies"-meets-a-telephone book, and just about as entertaining.
-
Does Someone Have to Go? provides little in the way of a grand statement or meaningful takeaway.
-
A reality show set at various small companies, it's part docuseries, part gauche game show.
-
The main issue, which isn't necessarily detrimental from a promotional standpoint, is the inherent distastefulness of turning someone's dismissal--especially in this economy--into entertainment.
-
Rooting against an established villain playing an elaborate game like Survivor or The Amazing Race is one thing; rooting to see a real person rendered unable to support his or her family is quite another, even if that person seems like a jerk.
-
No one deserves to lose their job in a mess like this--except the person who created this dreck.
-
Watching this one gave me a headache in about 17 minutes. You've been warned.
-
As it turns out, Does Someone Have to Go? is exactly bad as you would think.
-
[A] reprehensible reality "experiment."
