This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Despite some clunky scenes, The End of Time Part 2 works remarkably well as a grand finale to RTD1. It's funny, real, emotional, shocking, and saddening. The Time Lord twist is great, the Master's story is concluded satisfyingly, Tennant gives his best performance in the show while Russell writes phenomenal dialogue, and the companion goodbyes are better than most single episodes of the show. This an episode filled with tons of payoff to years of setup, so how could you not love it? Especially since it leads to the saddest and best regeneration ever.… Expand
