This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Twice Upon A Time is Moffat's misunderstood masterpiece. A character-study disguised as a real story makes for a really clever script made interesting by its iconic scenes, great acting, and brilliant character interactions ranging from comedic banter to thoughtful hearts-to-hearts. This all leads up to an amazing conclusion with heartwarming twists, genuine fan-service, tear-jerking dialogue, and a perfect regeneration that is both satisfying and sad all at the same time.
