I really dont know why, as a film major, medicinal and recreational weed advocate, family member of PTSD patient and huge fan of the show i am appalled at some of the opinionated and Clearly government funded reviews on the show to try and prevent a second season. Check Voges terrible article on it. None of these "professional" websites offering reviews mention how it sheds light on so many current issues of our time not just surrounding the pot industry. Carters story is heartwarming and just the tip of the ice berg when it comes to this show, other cultural issues and social injustice issues are tackled either subliminally or directly and in a comedy sitcom style. I think this show is a powerful tool for anyone involved in this industry, as a patient or a dispensary owner or whatever, this show was just absolutely amazing and enjoyable and was able to even convince my very old fashioned parents to want to try to smoke weed. please anyone reading this continue to spread the gospil of the show. This is a show i think everyone should watch for some clear knowledge on the world and how medical marijuanna can really help people in need. it is just all around a fantastic show, weather you agree with how it was filmed or not or some of the jokes look at the bigger picture. Wife and I watched three episodes. Thought Bates overacted and most of the characters were uninteresting. May convince non-users that pot makes you more stupid than funny. There is too much good material on Amazon and Netflix for me to waste my time on this show. Maybe you have to be stoned to enjoy it.

This is the worst comedy I have seen in over 20 years. I don't know who would give it a score of 10. Even the people giving it a 10 say, "The writing needs to be fixed. Let's hope it bounces back in the second season." Shows that score a perfect 10 don't need to bounce back! What is wrong with people?
The weed is not the problem. The problem is the writing and the laughing and the laugh

This is an ideal series to watch at night while enjoying a joint before sleep. It is an easy series to get into, some cut away scenes are truly funny. Even tho some of the jokes can seem forces at times, it can be a pleasurable watching experience. There are no Viola Davis-esq characters but the show does not need them.

They do amazing job on portraying character OF COLOR with PTSD. I think that this is very important for a TV sitcom about weed. The animated interludes are amazing.

The material that Kathy Bates has to work with is not rich and outstanding. Some of the supporting characters do a pretty good jobs, but for Kathy Bates' role I expected more.

I liked this comedy series. It's not every day that you gt to see Kathy Bates smoking pot and joking about it. Really hope this one gets renewed soon.

The show's far from perfect and I hope they do Bates more justice with any future episodes. Maybe the show needs to grow so it can find its voice and narrative.

Carter needs more screen time in my honest humble opinion. The way they've handled his PTSD is outstanding and I'm grateful for actor's acting and the writing in general.

The show is lovely and some of the puns are hilarious. However, I despise Dank and Dabby. I've never seen so annoying characters in a sitcom since Janice from Friends.

I think many people won't watch the show because of what a couple of critics have said. Don't do that. Give the show a chance. It might not be the best, but the topics it addresses are important.

Why not release all twenty episodes and only ten? I'm hooked on the show and love the characters. I'm going to need Netflix to release those remaining episodes soon.

''Disjointed'' needs more character background and less romantic plots. The lack of romantic interests for Kathy Bates' character was refreshing. Feels like that's gonna change as the season goes.

I don't know what to say that hasn't been said before. Disjointed won't last another year or two, but it's amazing binge-watchable show that you forget in a day or two.

Okay, guys let's give this show a minute before putting it in its grave. It has potential and the producers/writers/directors can come stronger with the new episodes.

Not many people are watching this hilarious show. I think it's because it's still pretty new. (not even a month since it premiered) My friends and I (five 20 years olds) love it and we're not regular pot users.

I like what I've seen so far. I try to not dig too deep for meaning and character growth. However, i think the show has great potential and Kathy Bates is killing it.

I don't think the pot is the problem. I feel like the writers wanted to write something original and ended up using recycled jokes, which can be hilarious sometimes.

I've seen tons of sitcoms and I can say that I liked this one. I see it as a pot commercial, which can be both a good and a bad thing. Everything depends on your perspective.

What is so bad about this show?
Do critics hate it because it portrays marijuana in such a positive light?
And would a show like this one survive on ABC, NBC, CBS? I don't think so.

This is not Emmy worth material, but you can kill time with it. I think it still leaves many to be desired, but it's not as bad as some people say .

I don't think any of the writers were sober while writing this show. No one making it is not taking it seriously, so the negative reviews are too much.

I love seeing that half of the cast is people of color. Sadly, at times i get the feeling that some of those are token characters, which I feel needs to stop and be addressed.

Disjointed serves as a look inside a stoner's life. At times it feels insulting and like the stoners are made fun of. But once you get past that you'll like it.

Is this what a Netflix original sitcom looks like? I'm having hard time believing this is all of it. The show has huge potential and I'm hoping it has a chance.

The comedy here consists primarily of jokes that would not have been out of place on one of those old Cheech and Chong comedy records. ... The rest of the time, it’s strictly sitcom writing at its most rote.

Though many of the show’s jokes center around pot humor (one episode ends with a character sitting in her parked car, convinced she’s driving down the highway), there’s also some depth.
