Sep 1, 2017Tone Bell and Kathy Bates are amazing screen partners. They are the best part of the show for me. Even if they cancelled it after one season, i'd still binge it again.
-
Aug 30, 2017this series is really disjointed in a way we know right? , and that is all about. if you dont like it is because you dont understand it. I love it. =D
-
Aug 31, 2017After scrolling from so many shows, I loved it. Good jokes, sensible humors and not for stoners only. Netflix hardly produce good shows and even if they do, the shows are discontinued. Anxiously waiting for new episodes!

Sep 1, 2017I got high and binged the whole thing and it seemed ''okay'' done show. But thinking about it it can be really offensive to some people, hence the poor reviews.
-
Sep 1, 2017Kathy Bates does a pretty well job portraying an activist. She is able to bring nuances to her character, but it feels like she's miscasted here and her talent falls short.
-
Sep 1, 2017It's not the best show that came out this year, but let's hope it's the start of a trend and new stoner sitcoms emerge in the next couple of years. =)
-
Sep 1, 2017I think the show is judged harshly. It's a very nice show and it shouldn't be taken seriously. Maybe they needed to hire more talented writers. I enjoy it so far.
-
Sep 1, 2017This show is far from being the best one. But if you use weed this show might as well be your cup of tea. The acting is subpar, but overall could be nice binge.

Sep 1, 2017It seems like a generally nice and original show. Kathy Bates is going her best here. I can't fight the lack of actual original jokes, but I did laugh a couple of times.
-
Sep 1, 2017What is so bad about this show?
Do critics hate it because it portrays marijuana in such a positive light?
And would a show like this one survive on ABC, NBC, CBS? I don't think so. -
Sep 1, 2017Not many people are watching this hilarious show. I think it's because it's still pretty new. (not even a month since it premiered) My friends and I (five 20 years olds) love it and we're not regular pot users.
-
Sep 6, 2017This is an ideal series to watch at night while enjoying a joint before sleep. It is an easy series to get into, some cut away scenes are truly funny. Even tho some of the jokes can seem forces at times, it can be a pleasurable watching experience. There are no Viola Davis-esq characters but the show does not need them.

Sep 1, 2017I can see a Golden Globe nomination happening for Kathy Bates at some point. They started well, now they need to fix the writing. The first season has 10 more episodes ordered, so they can still bounce back.

Sep 1, 2017Am I the only one that was relieved when they cut that dreadful opening credits? Most of the characters are unlikeable, but it's worth watching even just for miss Kathy Bates

Aug 29, 2017Anyone watching this show for more than 2 minutes needs to see someone that can help them.
I needed to go outside and make sure I was OK after being attacked with stupidity for two minutes.
Hard to describe how absolutely awful this is.
Worse show I have ever seen in 65 years. -

Sep 18, 2017Wife and I watched three episodes. Thought Bates overacted and most of the characters were uninteresting. May convince non-users that pot makes you more stupid than funny. There is too much good material on Amazon and Netflix for me to waste my time on this show. Maybe you have to be stoned to enjoy it.

Sep 1, 2017I don't think any of the writers were sober while writing this show. No one making it is not taking it seriously, so the negative reviews are too much.
-
Apr 30, 2019Great show that is better the second time around! So sad its only 1 season :(
-
Jan 19, 2018This series is the first to explore the sale and consumption of marijuana legally, is funny and very creative, artistic and uplifting. I love it
-
Sep 1, 2017Maybe this is going to be one of those shows panned by critics, but enjoyed by casual marijuana users. Users, who by the way are the target audience .
-
Sep 1, 2017The cast lacks chemistry, but that can be easily forgotten if you watch while you're stoned. The show is going nowhere, but I was actually surprised by the final episode.
-
Sep 1, 2017I can't believe Chuch Lorre created this sow. The laugh track feels kinda outdated. I don't see the musical numbers and the animated features as anything less than a tool for stoner pleasing.
-
Sep 1, 2017It's very hard to believe Kathy Bates left American Horror Story to do a stoner comedy that already feels kinda odd. Let's hope future episodes give us a reason to stick around
-
Sep 1, 2017Chuck Lorre's shows are not what they once were. Disjointed is just another stoner sitcom and people who take it way too seriously need to chill. At this point with those reviews I don't see a second season happening.
-
Sep 1, 2017Is this what a Netflix original sitcom looks like? I'm having hard time believing this is all of it. The show has huge potential and I'm hoping it has a chance.
-
Sep 1, 2017You may not like this show after watching he first episode, but it gets some getting used to. The cast is adorable and some of the issues tackled are relevant
-
Sep 1, 2017Disjointed serves as a look inside a stoner's life. At times it feels insulting and like the stoners are made fun of. But once you get past that you'll like it.
-
Sep 1, 2017I love seeing that half of the cast is people of color. Sadly, at times i get the feeling that some of those are token characters, which I feel needs to stop and be addressed.
-
Sep 1, 2017This is not Emmy worth material, but you can kill time with it. I think it still leaves many to be desired, but it's not as bad as some people say .
-
Sep 1, 2017I've seen tons of sitcoms and I can say that I liked this one. I see it as a pot commercial, which can be both a good and a bad thing. Everything depends on your perspective.
-
Sep 1, 2017I don't think the pot is the problem. I feel like the writers wanted to write something original and ended up using recycled jokes, which can be hilarious sometimes.
-
Sep 1, 2017I like what I've seen so far. I try to not dig too deep for meaning and character growth. However, i think the show has great potential and Kathy Bates is killing it.
-
Sep 1, 2017Okay, guys let's give this show a minute before putting it in its grave. It has potential and the producers/writers/directors can come stronger with the new episodes.
-
Sep 1, 2017I don't know what to say that hasn't been said before. Disjointed won't last another year or two, but it's amazing binge-watchable show that you forget in a day or two.
-
Sep 1, 2017''Disjointed'' needs more character background and less romantic plots. The lack of romantic interests for Kathy Bates' character was refreshing. Feels like that's gonna change as the season goes.
-
Sep 1, 2017Why not release all twenty episodes and only ten? I'm hooked on the show and love the characters. I'm going to need Netflix to release those remaining episodes soon.
-
Sep 1, 2017I think many people won't watch the show because of what a couple of critics have said. Don't do that. Give the show a chance. It might not be the best, but the topics it addresses are important.
-
Sep 1, 2017The show is lovely and some of the puns are hilarious. However, I despise Dank and Dabby. I've never seen so annoying characters in a sitcom since Janice from Friends.
-
Sep 1, 2017Carter needs more screen time in my honest humble opinion. The way they've handled his PTSD is outstanding and I'm grateful for actor's acting and the writing in general.
-
Sep 1, 2017The show's far from perfect and I hope they do Bates more justice with any future episodes. Maybe the show needs to grow so it can find its voice and narrative.
-
Sep 2, 2017I liked this comedy series. It's not every day that you gt to see Kathy Bates smoking pot and joking about it. Really hope this one gets renewed soon.
-
Sep 2, 2017The material that Kathy Bates has to work with is not rich and outstanding. Some of the supporting characters do a pretty good jobs, but for Kathy Bates' role I expected more.
-
Sep 2, 2017They do amazing job on portraying character OF COLOR with PTSD. I think that this is very important for a TV sitcom about weed. The animated interludes are amazing.
-
Sep 2, 2017I watched this while I was high and totally loved every scene of it. I don't know tho if i will continue to love the show once i'm sober haha kudos to the cast,
-
Feb 22, 2018I love this show im not really into stoners shows but i was hooked i would so love it if there was more series to come but if not i could still binge watch this show over and over again

If the substance of Disjointed seems straight out of 1972, so does its structure.
-
The comedy here consists primarily of jokes that would not have been out of place on one of those old Cheech and Chong comedy records. ... The rest of the time, it’s strictly sitcom writing at its most rote.
-
Though many of the show’s jokes center around pot humor (one episode ends with a character sitting in her parked car, convinced she’s driving down the highway), there’s also some depth.
