"Dinotopia" still has computer-generated dinosaurs hardly on a par with the creatures in the "Jurassic Park" movies; an annoying continuous faux classical music score; big, absurd sets; bizarre costumes; and an overall washed-out pastel look. [24 Nov 2002]

I know the mini series was much better than the 13 eps they managed to get on screen but Dinotopia was and still is such an amazing story I really wish they would give it a new lease of life with a second chance as a TV series because its such a shame to waste such a brilliant idea... plusI know the mini series was much better than the 13 eps they managed to get on screen but Dinotopia was and still is such an amazing story I really wish they would give it a new lease of life with a second chance as a TV series because its such a shame to waste such a brilliant idea... plus with all the **** remakes they're doing now-a-days ya think instead of just trashing old greats they would at least try to give a series that wasn't given its proper dues the first time around a second shot.… Expand
