    Based on the five episodes screened, Difficult People isn’t interested in treading water this season, contributing to a richer, more empathetic experience that never also fails to find the funny.

    Why on Earth would anyone want to spend a half hour with these people? Simple: because they are hilarious. The fact that they don’t have a good word to say about anyone reflects on them, and the image isn’t pretty, but it’s very, very funny.
