I didn't expect a happy ending for Dexter, but this was disappointing. I'm so sad with this.

Finale was disappointing, again. Although it was great season, it failed to deliver cathartic conclusion. Sad.

Another case of a season that could have been so, so great if the ending didn't completely fall flat on its face. This season had some undoubtedly fantastic and 'classic' feeling Dexter moments, however the way they end this series is almost more of an insult than the ending they were attempting to reprimand. Unless they release an 'alternate' ending that actually utilizes the many highly interesting plot threads they spent all season creating and building up to, then this is sadly an almost pointless addition to the series. With that being said, if you're okay with having an unsatisfying ending and just want more Dexter moments, this will absolutely give you that, I remember being THRILLED after the first episode thinking "oh sh%t, this show is really back in full swing!" And they do manage to maintain and build upon that momentum, all up until the second half of the last episode, where everything that had been laid out was essentially shot in the foot. Nice start and atmosphere , reminds me a lot of Fargo.
Angela characters is too flat and one sided , lack of humanity.
Deb character feels intresting at first but get anoying fast.
A lot of inconsisntency of the plot. Innecesary season

Dexter: New Blood wasn't supposed to come out. Dexter: New Blood only disappoints as a result. Yes, in general, if we consider season 9 as a separate project, it is not bad, and you can watch it very much. But if you consider the series as aDexter: New Blood wasn't supposed to come out. Seen the first 4 episodes, I expected worse. It's great that dexter is back, however it feels a bit forced at times.
