Most of the bad reviews here are just people complaining about the showing having minorities. At least to hide your racism/homophobia next time.

So far so good. To the people complaining about the diversity, grow up snowflakes!!!

This season of Dexter is as good as the best moments of the previous show. Michael C. Hall is on point, still as terrifying and likeable as ever. I hope the show returns for the long run.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This is Dexter's redemption, just finished the 4th ep and holy ***** what a twisty turn this series is, I don't understand the negative reviews, stuff needs to happen for the main story line to progress. Also they are just complaining about 1 person in a wheelchair and straight up racism/homophobia.

Anyway, if you ignored the last season (which was terrible) like me, this seems to be a fresh start for dexter, I hope it gets to continue. Again, it's not about the story in one episode but the arc of the series, which so far has been awesome

I was surprised to see Dexter return to TV. I think the show is pretty good but it's hard to live up to the original.

The Six Feet Under and Safe star slips perfectly back into the role. ... Overall, it’s brilliant to see Dexter back on our screens again and New Blood holds plenty of promise for what’s ahead.

In repeating many of the familiar beats from the previous series, Dexter: New Blood demonstrates the same inertia Dexter and Dexter Morgan suffers from. Nothing has changed here. Some monsters are not that complicated. Maybe it’s foolish that we ever thought they were at all.

New Blood has plenty of direction. It promises to tell a self-contained story, stripped of the flabby camp that came to define it, and to tell it well. This is a leaner, hungrier Dexter than we are used to, and it’s a little bit thrilling to have him back. Maybe I’m a glutton for punishment, but I’m all in.
