    While I find that I can't stop watching because I have seen every single episode, I think some of the episodes in this season are a bit of a let down and there is quite a bit of filler. I think the season's story overall is a good one, but there just simply isn't enough material there to fill every episode of the entire season.   1. It has the wit and bite that made the series a standout, but it has jettisoned much of the dramatic baggage that had begun to weigh the show down.
  2. If you gave up on either one because they seemed tired or just annoying in their familiarity, now might be a good time to try a return visit.

    Yet while the first episode basically does the heavy lifting setup-wise, the second is a knockout -- with great scenes involving Lynette's well-intentioned but intrusive parenting style, Gabrielle's social climbing and Bree's work/home juggling act.
