Thank god they did the changes they did from season 2. Much smarter more realistic, with actual fairness in battles, historical information is really good too.

I originally loved the idea of Deadliest Warrior but became disillusioned while watching the first two seasons. It should've been called Deadliest Weapon. Some of the outcomes were ludicrous and were entirely based on the firepower the warriors were bringing to the table, such as in theI originally loved the idea of Deadliest Warrior but became disillusioned while watching the first two seasons. It should've been called Deadliest Weapon. Some of the outcomes were ludicrous and were entirely based on the firepower the warriors were bringing to the table, such as in the Pirate vs. Knight episode in which the pirate won. Another was the Spartan vs. Ninja when the Spartan won, and so on. Season 3 is entirely rebooted, with Max Gieger no longer on the show (good riddance), and a new simulation program with x-factors and a whole separate section for tactics and warrior psychology. This show is now incredibly entertaining from a historical and tactical point of view while keeping the weapon carnage from the old version. Recommended… Expand
