I love series like this, and Criminal Minds is just so interesting and absorbing. It is very dark and somewhat grim often, but I like that side, it does make the show compelling. I will admit it was a show that started off good, but then gotI love series like this, and Criminal Minds is just so interesting and absorbing. It is very dark and somewhat grim often, but I like that side, it does make the show compelling. I will admit it was a show that started off good, but then got better and better. I love how it is filmed as well, the camera work is innovative, and the locations are always lovely and evocative to watch. The music is very fitting, the main theme is chilling to an extent and the music choices in each episode are appropriate and effective a vast majority of the time. The writing is always intelligent, witty and thought-provoking and the episode ideas are brilliant with moments that are chilling and moving. And of course the characters are wonderful, especially stone-faced Jason Gideon, Spencer and Hotch(as well as Rossi and Prentiss), and they are brought to life brilliantly by a sterling cast, both lead and supporting. Overall, I just love this show, it is true that some episodes are better than others(then again it is like that with most shows), whenever it is on I always watch it. 10/10 Bethany Cox… Expand

By far, one of the best police shows of all time. Shows perfect placement, many types of criminals, a killer cast and crew, and amazing acting, writing, and directing.

This show is a perfect example of what an amazing show could be. An amazing cast that has tons of chemistry with each other, you always feel the emotion coming out of the characters, that's how good the acting is from each and every one ofThis show is a perfect example of what an amazing show could be. The producers, writers, and director did an excellent and very strong job at putting their all into this show, they chose all the right settings, the script was also very genuine and emotional, always. This show will always have a special place in my heart, I highly recommend it if you want an amazing comfort show just to bawl your eyes out to, or just want a good laugh. This show truly is the peak of television, it will forever stand the test of time. I cherish this show deeply and I will always love it with a special place in my heart.… Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This show weirdly enough is my comfort show. When I don't have anything to watch I will always come back to it. Now with it being 16 seasons you will of course run into the repeat themes in the show. But after Hotch and Morgan left the show it did start to kinda suck. But I still watched it, once Reid went to prison everything started to kinda go downhill, it showed you a whole different side of him that you wouldn't want to see. Season 16 was unneeded only two of the original team of 7 is there, the show lost it's pizzazz and they just wanted to keep it going. But I would recommend before season 16, that is when it was good. The episodes that MGG produced were definitely some of the best and scariest. This show is comforting through and through.… Expand
