I like the show. I've seen every episode. I think it's like Grey's Anatomy, only with lawyers.

Striking! New and interesting mix or hard, soft, edgy and straight tones. Bawdy slice of life meets the confines of a network tv legal drama. Has potential!

I thought it was well done, and I always either watched or recorded it. My question is, with the viewer reviews (and we're the ones who matter, right?) being so glowing, mostly, 9's and 10's, why the HELL would they cancel this show? Personally, I think there are TOO many Law and Orders now, they diluted the brilliance of the first two and I was looking for new blood. Having worked in a prosecutor's office it is good to have the court battles shown. These are the "white hat" guys - the good guys and they work against all odds for justice.

It seems NBC is determined to renew its effort to suck the bottom all over again. Critics again have managed to "daisy chain" each other into believing this show is a loser. They're worst than a herd of pregnant yaks. That NBC listens to them....They have no idea, in general, what the American public really likes, and they have the same number of balls as shuffle board--none! I love this show. With SVU being the best law and order show out there, Conviction is the 2nd.

This show is the best. I just hope that there is a few more seasons. Please let me know if there are. You can not just leave a good cliff hanger like that at the end of the season

I am so upset they cancelled this show!!! I wrote NBC an e-mail letting them know how pissed I was. I totally agree with everything Jennifer M said, I suggest anyone who liked Conviction should contact NBC and tell them so. Maybe they'll bring it back to life!

The problem with the critics is that they are just too old for their jobs. I think newer television shows are trying to appeal to a younger audience and those critics, well, they've just been around way too long. They beat down on the shows that they are too old to be interested in and spoil it for the rest of us. I really loved this show and I am very sad that it has been cancelled. I liked this far better than I ever like Law and Order. Very disappointed. Why keep The Biggest Loser or Breaking Bonaduce over this show -- unbelievable !

A far cry from Boston Legal or even The Practice, this is so clumsy in its mix of the procedural and the personal that it should barely be legal.

"Conviction" does exhibit a bit more creative promise than "Trial by Jury."
