JouniHJan 3, 2010Man, this really is the best series in a loooong time. I just loved the four-season series Ed to bits and this Community reminds me of Ed a whole lot. The cast is perfect and the humor is witty and timing perfect. I have to say I've even had to hold back tears during a couple of episodes. :) Just amazing.

joOct 2, 2009This show is hilarious - full of funny lines and, despite being stereotypes, the characters still manage to surprise. It's light hearted fun and laugh out loud funny. I am certainly going to continue watching on the web when I return to Australia.

AlbertN.Sep 24, 2009This show is brilliant. It might be a good way to test intelligence. The less intelligent being individuals who didn't find the show funny/ entertaining. If you love Jay Leno and reruns of Full House, this might not be the show for you.

katTOct 2, 2009It's not making fun of community college, rob. this is the best comedy on tv! so smart it doesn't need any musical number fillers.

KevinHOct 27, 2009The most astoundingnly clever comedy to grace the small screen since Seinfeld was king.

DotF.Sep 24, 2009I really enjoyed this show. I laughed a lot. Even Chevy Chase was funny. It's been a long time since I could say that!

JaysonSep 26, 2009The show is a hit. Joel McHale does an excellent job along with the rest of the cast. Thank goodness NBC took a chance because they hit it out of the park!

SeanCDec 3, 2009Excellent show. Good writing and a great cast. Anyone who enjoys The Office or 30 Rock will like this show and its dry humor.

MarkDec 4, 2009By far and away this (along with Modern Family) are the best new comedies on TV right now.

JennyCNov 13, 2009with 30 rock, one of my top picks for an instant pick-me-up laugh. Great one-liners, smart, funny, love the cast so much! Who knew Community College could actually be cool.

AdamsFNov 20, 2009Great show that is getting better each week. The characters are loveable and the jokes are fast paced and clever. Sure there are always happy endings but I find myself rooting for the cast so it all works out. Keep it on the air NBC!

Nov 19, 2010Never before in my young life have a seen a show funnier than Community. An enormously funny cast. Danny Pudi's performance is amazing. Why this show wasn't nominated for any Emmy's is beyond me. This show is streets ahead!
-
Sep 7, 2010One of the funniest shows on TV right now along with The Big Bang Theory. Danny Pudi (Abed) should be considered a top contender for an Emmy next year. One of the best ensemble casts since Friends in my opinion. You can never go wrong with Chevy Chase. Side note: Alison Brie...Wow...I want to kiss her face.

Sep 6, 2010This is my favorite comedy show since arrested development. Full of references and parodies. Hilarious and superb writing. The paintball episode may be the best in television history.
-
Sep 8, 2010The first new comedy I've been excited by since, well, since I don't know when -- years. Utterly original. Equal parts wry self-awareness and spit-your-food-out hilarity. And lest I neglect to mention Donald Glover...

Oct 8, 2010This smart, upbeat show, takes us on a great sitcom adventure. Not a dull moment in the show! One of the best comidies since "The Big Bang Theory". The show is witty and creative and should be nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Comedy. The acting is superb and amazing. This is one of the best TV shows I've ever seen and I hope you guys get a chance to watch it.

Nov 19, 2010This is the best show on tv, right up there with the office. I seems that people that don't like this show are either old or have a horrible sense of humour.
-
Dec 27, 2010Smart show with fantastic references and unrealistic dialogue, but it's a comedy and that's to be somewhat expected. Only has one useless character (Shirley) and rarely has a stale episode. Those that are stale still have good writing. By far, the funniest sitcom on broadcast television. I look forward to every episode.

Jan 25, 2011I am so glad this show is on TV. It is one of the most well writting series I have ever watched and the characters are amazing. I urge you to watch this show!

Dec 8, 2011Best show on television. The comedy is fresh original and smart. We need more shows with this much originality on tv. I wish more people would discover this show so it stays on the air.

If creator/writer Dan Harmon earns only a "C" for the framework of his show, he gets higher grades for its brisk pace and clever writing. And some extra credit is in order for casting, as well.
-
As long as the jokes stay barbed, fast and witty--as they are in the pilot--there's more than enough reason to keep following the band of misfits.
-
Community embraces the traditional sitcom notion of “family” being what you make of it, but it’s a little too self-conscious about the genre’s cliches--or at least, feels that way because its satirical elements aren’t as crisp as they need to be.
