Louis Jourdan, fresh off his triumphant performance in Count Dracula for the BBC in a throughly enjoyable turn as a ruthless food critic steals the show here as he murders a head chef who is about to expose him as an extortionist. The cat and mouse game that ensues between Columbo and Gerard give both Falk and Jourdan some of the most riveting, yet humorous lines of the entire series. This episode is a great example of why Columbo was so successful.… Expand
