Summary: Colonel Black increases his labours to find what he lost by using Ian who is Victor's lab assistant. The Clone learns about 'The Line', i.e. things that are and are not suitable to say to people. The Colonel also begins murdering a number of people around the world that he believes may be associated with Victor and the clone.
